The Ulster Bank
The Ulster Bank opened in Newry Street in 1917 at the premises now occupied by Fisher & Fisher, solicitors. In 1991 the Ulster Bank relocated to new, purpose-built premises in Church Square, previously known as the Sunset Lounge Bar, owned by Mr and Mrs Charles Downey. The Ulster Bank closed on the 6th of June 2018 and the premises are now occupied by the Credit Union.
